What this means for brands
- ChatGPT builds this answer from a handful of review and retail pages. Getting reviewed or listed on those sites moves the answer more than editing your own homepage.
- The ranking moves between runs. Check the question over a week or two and judge the trend, not one answer.
- If your brand sells in this category and is missing above, run the free test to see which questions and engines leave you out.
How we ran this
On each run date we asked the question exactly as written above, in English, in a new ChatGPT chat with web search on (method: ChatGPT (gpt-5.4-mini via API, web search on)). We record the ranked picks in order, brands mentioned without a pick, and the sites ChatGPT cited. The question is rerun every day; this page updates with each run.
- AI answers vary between runs and between users. Treat one run as a sample, and look at the history table for the trend.
- “China-founded” means founded in mainland China or by a mainland-China team, the same definition as our benchmark.
