When you need GEO

Buying decisions are shifting from "search it" to "ask it": users ask ChatGPT-style assistants to recommend products and compare brands directly. AI answers are becoming a brand's newest front door.

Three common signals that you need GEO:

  • AI doesn't mention you — users ask "which brand should I pick in this category" and your name is not on the list;
  • AI gets you wrong — your positioning, products or pricing are misstated, or you are confused with a same-name brand;
  • AI only recommends competitors — they are already in the answer while you haven't started.

For how GEO relates to (and differs from) SEO, read our full explainer: What is GEO and how is it different from SEO.

What the service includes

Full coverage of international and Chinese engines: ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, plus Doubao, Qwen and DeepSeek. Our in-house GEO operating system runs the whole loop:

  • Baseline audit — a scenario-based question bank built from real buying journeys; we first measure how AI answers each question today, whether you appear, and whether the facts are right;
  • Content optimization — content built the way AI likes to cite: clear definitions, verifiable facts, FAQ structures;
  • Citation-source building — distribution into the sources AI engines actually cite; community word-of-mouth doubles as citation material;
  • Weekly retests — the same prompt bank re-run week after week, lift on a scale, every question screenshot-archived.
03

How it is delivered

Every test leaves screenshot evidence, rolled up into a weekly, reconcilable report: the questions where your brand began appearing in AI answers, the factual errors corrected, and what is still open. "Inclusion" has a plain meaning — when a user asks the question, your brand appears in the AI's answer list.

Reports lead with conclusions and trend curves; raw screenshots stay on file and any row can be spot-checked.

04

Guarantee and scope of claims

Our in-house visibility system for domestic & overseas engines delivers a white-label guaranteed lift in AI answer-list inclusion — gains measured on a scale and logged question by question. That guarantee is written into the contract.

The boundary is written just as clearly: a specific ranking position and sales are not promised — those are reported as observed only when measured. The terms live in the contract; the retest data does the talking.

How it works with our other services

Where do AI answers come from? To a large degree, from community discussions and real user reviews. So GEO rarely runs alone:

The full "monitor → content → citation → retest" loop is here: The AI growth loop.

FAQ

Is this "GEO" about geographic targeting?
No. In our services GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization — optimizing how AI assistants answer questions about your brand. It has nothing to do with geo-targeting or location-based ads.
How is GEO different from SEO?
SEO optimizes link rankings on search engines; GEO optimizes the content of AI answers. They reinforce each other but work differently — GEO cares about whether content is citable by AI and whether brand facts are stated correctly. See our What is GEO explainer for the full picture.
How soon do results show?
We deliver a baseline audit first, then retest weekly; when AI engines refresh their citations is outside any vendor's control, and the pace depends on category competition and your content base. Weekly reports show the honest curve — we don't promise a date.
What counts as "inclusion"?
We build a prompt bank from real buying scenarios. A question counts as included when the AI answer list shows your brand. Inclusion rate = included questions ÷ total questions, screenshot-archived at every retest.
