Scope and disclosure

This page keeps only agencies whose own Reddit page or linked case study shows SaaS / B2B software work, then applies the seven public criteria from our main Reddit agency ranking.

Disclosure: MaxGrowth is the author of this page and sells Reddit community marketing. We describe ourselves in a separate row below, but we do not score or rank ourselves. Every other row uses only facts the agency publishes about itself, with a link so you can check. Agencies were included only if their own pages show SaaS / B2B software work. Spot an error? Email pocketaigc@gmail.com and we will correct it within 5 business days.

Where your buyers talk on Reddit

Software buyers use Reddit to ask for alternatives, complain about tools and compare pricing. Typical communities include r/SaaS, r/startups, r/sysadmin, r/devops, r/marketing, r/sales and tool-specific subreddits. Many of these ban direct self-promotion outright or allow it only in a weekly thread, so read each one’s sidebar first.

Thread types worth an agency’s time:

  • “Alternatives to [competitor]?” threads, where an honest, disclosed reply from the vendor is often welcome if the rules allow it
  • “What do you use for [job]?” threads that AI engines later cite for “best [category]” prompts
  • Complaint threads about your own product, where a fast, factual answer matters more than any campaign
  • AMAs with founders or engineers, arranged through mod mail
04

Industry-specific selection criteria

  • Founder and engineer participation: do they coach your team to answer under your own identified accounts?
  • Technical accuracy: who checks replies about integrations, security and pricing before they go out?
  • Rule mapping: can they show the self-promotion rule for each target subreddit?
  • Pipeline attribution: can they tag Reddit referrals to signups or demos?
  • AI-search link: do they report which threads ChatGPT and Perplexity cite for your “alternatives” prompts?

FAQ

Does Reddit marketing work for B2B SaaS?

It can, because software buyers ask Reddit for alternatives and honest opinions, and AI engines cite those threads. It works when people who know the product answer real questions under identified accounts and follow each subreddit’s self-promotion rules. Link-dropping usually gets removed.

Which subreddits matter for SaaS companies?

It depends on the buyer: r/SaaS and r/startups for founders, r/sysadmin and r/devops for IT and engineering, r/marketing and r/sales for go-to-market teams, plus subreddits about the tools you integrate with. Check each sidebar for rules on vendors.

Should SaaS founders post on Reddit themselves?

Often yes. Communities respond better to a founder or engineer who says who they are and answers in detail than to a brand account. An agency can find threads, draft and check facts, while your team posts under their own identified accounts.

How was this SaaS Reddit agency list made?

We kept agencies from our main list of 11 whose own Reddit page or case study shows SaaS or B2B work, and scored each on seven facts it publishes about itself. MaxGrowth, the author, is excluded from scoring.
