Scope and disclosure
Generic GEO lists mix local plumbers and enterprise software. This page keeps only agencies whose own pages show ecommerce / consumer products work, then applies the same seven public criteria as our main GEO agency ranking.
Disclosure: MaxGrowth wrote this page and is a GEO agency. We are not scored or ranked here. Agencies were included only if their own GEO/AEO page or a linked case study shows ecommerce / consumer products work. Corrections: pocketaigc@gmail.com.

Source: each agency's own GEO/AEO service page and linked case study, checked 2026-10-18. “Not stated” means we did not find it on that page; it may exist elsewhere on their site. We record whether pricing is published, never the numbers.
5 of the 12 agencies we checked publish ecommerce / consumer products evidence. Score = number of the seven public criteria met; see the full methodology.
Prompts and sources that matter in this industry
Product prompts are answered from retailer and brand product pages, review roundups (Wirecutter-style lists, niche review blogs), YouTube reviews and Reddit threads where owners compare products. In Google, Merchant Center product data can also feed shopping results. An ecommerce GEO agency should cover product data and third-party reviews, not only blog content.
Test these prompt patterns in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google before any agency call:
- best [product] under $[price]
- best [product] for [use case / skin type / room size]
- [your brand] vs [competitor brand]
- is [your brand] legit / worth it
- [your brand] review reddit
For each answer, note whether you appear, how you are described, and which URLs are cited. That list of cited URLs is the real work plan.
Industry-specific selection criteria
- Product data: do they audit product schema, feeds and on-page specs so engines can quote price, availability and key specs correctly?
- Review roundups: how do they get products evaluated by independent reviewers, without paying for placement?
- Owner discussions: do they work in the subreddits where owners compare products, following each subreddit’s self-promotion rules?
- Marketplace overlap: do they account for Amazon and retailer listings that AI answers cite instead of your site?
- Revenue attribution: can they separate AI-referred sessions and orders in your analytics?

FAQ
What should a GEO agency do for an ecommerce brand?
It should make product facts easy for AI engines to quote, through structured data, clear specs and pricing, and get products into independent review roundups and owner discussions that AI answers cite. Blog content alone rarely changes product recommendations.
Which sources do AI engines use for product recommendations?
Commonly brand and retailer product pages, review roundups, YouTube reviews and Reddit threads where owners compare products. In Google, product data from Merchant Center can also appear in shopping results. The mix varies by engine and category.
Can Reddit help ecommerce brands appear in AI answers?
Reddit threads are frequently cited for product questions. The safe way to take part is disclosed participation that follows each subreddit’s rules and works with moderators. Anything that breaks Reddit’s rules on vote manipulation or hides that a brand is posting risks removal and bans, and damages trust.
How was this ecommerce GEO agency list made?
We kept agencies whose own GEO page or linked case study shows ecommerce or consumer product work, then scored each on seven facts it publishes about itself, with source links. MaxGrowth, the author, is excluded from scoring.
